The GOP’s Liberty Caucus, considered by many to be the conscience of the Republican Party in calling for limited government, promotion of liberty, and constitutional plain-speak, has endorsed Auburndale lawyer and lifelong Northeast Queens resident Dan Halloran for City Council in the 19th Council District of New York City. The district encompasses the neighborhoods of College Point, Whitestone, Auburndale, Bayside, Bay Terrace, Douglaston, and Little Neck.

Halloran who serves on the state board of the RLC said, “I gratefully accept this endorsement and am honored that the Caucus is supporting my effort to bring reform to City government in New York.”

Halloran has received the endorsement of the Queens County GOP’s 26th Assembly District which is the majority stakeholder of that Councilmanic territory. He will be formally nominated at the Queens County Republican Party’s Executive session for the party’s endorsement if leaders in the 22nd, 24th, 25th and 27th Assembly Districts concur with the nomination.
