National Republican Party’s Liberty Caucus Elects Halloran to National Board as Northeast Regional Director shortly after his election as New York’s Chairman

The GOP’s Liberty Caucus, considered by many to be the conscience of the Republican Party in calling for limited government, promotion of liberty, and constitutional plain-speak, has elected Auburndale lawyer and City Council Candidate in the 19th Council District of New York City, Dan Halloran, to the National Board of the RLC as Northeast Regional Director, just days after the State Board had unanimously elected him the Chairman of the New York State Republican Liberty Caucus.

Halloran who has served on the state board of the RLC for the past few years and has been the coordinator of the Metro-NYC and Long Island sections of the state caucus said, “I am grateful for the vote of confidence in my leadership and am honored to serve as the state’s chairman as well as on the National Board as Regional Director in the Caucus. I am proud that the Caucus has wholeheartedly supported my efforts to bring reform to government in New York City.”

Halloran was elected by acclamation to the post of Regional Director, coordinating the entire Northeast shortly after his election to the state Chairmanship of New York. He attended the national convention in Jacksonville Florida in March and was a key figure in reforming the RLC’s National By-Laws, and in promoting the parliamentary procedures that guided the conference.
